Youth Empowerment For Engaged Citizenship - Habib University
Shehri-Citizens for a Better Environment (Shehri-CBE) successfully hosted a Knowledge Workshop featuring an Expert Panel Discussion at Habib University, Karachi, in collaboration with the Social Development & Policy Program, School of Arts Humanities & Social Sciences (AHSS). The event was part of the ongoing project “Youth Empowerment for Engaged Citizenship”.
The workshop took place on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The session focused on the work of not-for-profit and start-up organizations and their experiences with urban governance in the city.
Panel Discussion Highlights
The Expert Panel Discussion brought together invited representatives from informal players in the public policy arena to engage with participating students. This engagement aimed to build further knowledge and capacity in the youth for more informed and constructive interaction with these actors.
