Shehri-Citizens for a Better Environment (Shehri-CBE) hosted a successful Workshop featuring a Panel Discussion with elected representatives at Habib University, Karachi. The event was held in collaboration with the Social Development & Policy Program, School of Arts Humanities & Social Sciences (AHSS) , as part of the ongoing project “Youth Empowerment for Engaged Citizenship”.
The session took place on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 11:15 am to 1:30 pm.
Panel Discussion Highlights
The discussion focused on the Legislative Branch of government , with elected representatives from various tiers of governance engaging directly with students.

The discussion aimed to inform students about the policy-making process , political party missions and agenda , and how to make the policy process more inclusive and participatory. This engagement was expected to build further knowledge and capacity in the youth for informed and constructive engagement with their elected representatives.
